External Key Drop Off Service

Thank you for using this key drop service (“Service”). We, [Sime Darby Motors Retail Australia Pty Limited trading as Denlo Volkswagen ], (“Denlo Volkswagen”, “we” “our” “us”) provide the Service for your convenience and we deem your use of the Service to reflect your agreement to the terms and conditions below:

The Service is available for you to drop your keys between 6pm and 7am Sunday to Thursday. The Service is not available outside of these hours. You will be required to ensure you have parked the vehicle where safely and without potential for health and safety risks to people or property. The vehicle IS NOT to be parked in our service driveway. We will not accept any liability for your vehicle until our service department is open for trading and we collect your keys and the vehicle. Trading hours are 7am – 5:30pm Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays).The vehicle will remain at your risk until we are able to collect your keys and vehicle (“Collection”). We will use all reasonable endeavours to complete the Collection within an hour of our opening times of 7am. We recommend that you maintain full insurance for your vehicle to reduce risks of theft, fire, and accidental damage however we will not be responsible for any loss, damage claim or expense you incur by using our Service. You must indemnify us for any claims or losses we incur arising from your vehicle until Collection and you agree that your vehicle is insured for third-party claims. If your keys are not available, or are not in a working condition, we will not be responsible for collecting the vehicle, and it will remain at your risk until collected. If you are not the vehicle’s registered owner, we deem you to have full and proper authority to act on behalf of the registered owner.

Please execute at my cost as soon as you conveniently can, the repairs listed above and also any other work considered essential.

Agreement: The vehicle, its accessories and contents are at my risk entirely whether theft or loss thereof or damage thereto arises from any want of care on the part of yourself or your contractors or servants or from any cause whatsoever. In the event of any repairs not proving satisfactory, the Company's liability and obligation shall be limited to making good any defective parts or defective workmanship performed by the Company: The maintenance and repair work carried out in accordance with this order which is not under manufacturer warranty is warranted for a period of 7 days from the date of the vehicle being returned to me after repair "Warranty Period'). This warranty, will only apply where a defect has arisen wholly or substantially as a result of faulty workmanship by us, we have been notified of the claim before the expiry of the Warranty Period and is subject to the same limitations and exclusions set by the manufacturer and any others to the extent permitted by law including but not limited to no liability for any consequential loss or for damage caused or contributed to by you or any other party

Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For major failures with the service, you are entitled:

  1. to cancel your service contract with us, and
  2. to a refund for the unused portion, or to compensation for its reduced value.

You are also entitled to choose a refund or replacement for major failures with goods. If a failure with the goods or a service does not amount to a major failure, you are entitled to have the failure rectified in a reasonable time. If this is not done, you are entitled to a refund for the goods and to cancel the contract for the service and obtain a refund of any unused portion. You are also entitled to be compensated for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage from a failure in the Goods presented for repair as such are more covered by may manufacturer's new vehicle warranty and are subject to any warranty provided by the manufacturer of the part. To make a warranty claim, please contact us at the service address or phone number provided on this

invoice with details of the claim. We request that you return the vehicle to our service centre at your own cost, however if the vehicle cannot be driven as a result of faulty workmanship, we will make arrangements to collect the vehicle at our cost.

The benefits of its this warranty are in addition to your other rights and remedies available to you under law in relation to the services to which this warranty relates. All diagnosis time is chargeable, even in the event that I choose not to proceed with the repairs. Storage charges may apply should my vehicle not be collected within 2 business days of being requested to do so. The title to any good supplied shall not pass to the purchaser and my vehicle may be retained until payment has been made in FULL.

Privacy Disclosure and Consent: Sime Darby Motors Retail Australia Pty Ļd, may from time to time, provide your personal information to manufacturers. Manufacturers collects, uses and discloses your personal information in relation to the salę or marketing of automotive products to you and the servicing and repair of those products. Specific activates manufacturers undertakes include sending you order confirmation and welcome kits, administering warranty claims, conducting market research, sending you information about new model launches or promotional events, and other related activities. For more detail on how manufacturers handles your personal information please refer to manufacturer's privacy policy which is available on website. By signing this order, you consent to manufacturer transferring your personal information to manufacturer's related companies outside Australia (which will handle that information for the above purposes).

I also authorise Denlo Volkswagen to be registered as my Preferred Servicing Dealer so I can receive reminders when my next Condition Based Service is due.
